Hi there! First, I want to say Congratulations on taking this exciting step in your business and outsourcing your editing! You’re about to step into an entirely new season with your creative business, and I am so excited for you. I’d be thrilled to be a part of it!
My name is Megan, and I’m a Virginia & Destination Wedding Photographer providing bright, romantic, and joyful wedding imagery for the elegant, head-over-heels in love. Since 2010, I have been photographing portraits and weddings and providing couples with beautiful, timeless images to place in silver frames and hang on the walls of their home. When I’m not shooting weddings or spending time with my husband Justin, you can probably find me sipping on a caramel latte while reading a theoretical physics book, exploring Main Street in an historic town, or planning our next family adventure. I also love browsing antique shops, collecting wine, jamming out to old school Taylor Swift, our summer days at the county fair, and all things London, vintage, and timelessly elegant.
One thing I’ve grown particularly passionate about over the years of owning my own business is encouraging profitable businesses that make room for less work and more life. If that sounds like something you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place!
My editing style thrives best when serving photographers with a bright, romantic style who shoot a minimum of 15 weddings a year and are actively blogging their weddings. However, I am very well-versed in Lightroom and can adapt to match a wide variety of editing styles. I’m a quick learner and editor, and I genuinely love being a part of the wedding photography process in this way.
The services I provide include:
Lightroom Editing – Exposure and color correction, cropping, and straightening
Basic Retouching – Removal of obvious blemishes on close-up images & cloning out distracting elements
We’ll start with a Skype consultation that will allow us to get to know each other a little better. I’ll learn all about shooting and editing style, your wedding workflow, and your overall dreams for your business. Then I’ll take the time to learn your unique editing style by walking through your Lightroom process with you. We’ll also go over your ideal turnaround time, your blogging and delivery schedule, and your calendar for the upcoming months. This is also a time for you to ask any questions about the editing process or to relevant information with me about your business and your editing style!
Whether you’d like the editing process to begin as soon as you import your cards or after you’ve edited your favorite images for the blog post, I’m available to start at any step in the process.
I’m so excited to get to know you and to serve you and your clients in this way! I can’t wait to see your beautiful work and make this next season of your business the best one yet.
